Return to Silence:
A 10-Night Pilgrimage in Tiruvannamalai
A sacred journey held in presence, simplicity, and deep listening
This is not a retreat. It is a return.
A private pilgrimage guided in sacred presence through Tiruvannamalai, India, an ancient town revered for its deep spiritual pull where silence speaks and the inner journey deepens.
For thousands of years, Tiruvannamalai has drawn saints, sages, and sincere seekers to the sacred mountain of Arunachala.
It is a place of profound spiritual gravity, especially for those called inward.

This is a journey into presence. Through stillness. Toward what’s real.
I will walk beside you, not to lead, but to walk with you. In reverence.
Who This Pilgrimage Is For

-
Spiritually sensitive individuals seeking true inner depth
Those disillusioned by spiritual performance or dogma and yearning for authentic connection beyond belief systems. -
Burnt-out seekers, therapists, healers, artists, and wisdom-carriers
People who have given deeply to others and now feel the quiet pull inward. A longing to refill, reflect, and remember what truly matters. -
People in life transition
Whether moving through grief, burnout, heartbreak, aging, or awakening, they feel called into silence, presence, and a deeper surrender. -
Those drawn to Arunachala without knowing why
Not through words, but through something wordless and magnetic. A pull that cannot be explained, only felt.

What's Included
• 10 nights' accommodation in a peaceful guesthouse near Arunachala
Your stay will be in a simple, clean, and spiritually supportive guesthouse just moments from the sacred hill. This environment is designed to support deep rest, stillness, and the inner work this pilgrimage invites.
• Daily meals – breakfast, lunch, and dinner
Nourishing meals are freshly prepared each day. Choose from local South Indian flavours or simple international-style dishes depending on your preference. Vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and allergy-friendly options are available.
• Morning meditation at Sri Ramana Ashram
Each morning, you’re invited to sit in silent meditation at Ramana Maharshi’s ashram, a space where countless seekers have turned inward. There are no instructions and no performances. Just presence, peace, and the unspoken invitation to listen deeply within.
• Visit to Arunachaleswarar Temple
We’ll visit one of the oldest and most revered Shiva temples in South India, where the divine is worshipped as the fire element. This living temple breathes with history, devotion, and spiritual power. Walking through its sacred corridors is a pilgrimage in itself.
• Giri Pradakshina
The sacred walk around Arunachala.
We’ll do the 14 km Girivalam, barefoot or with shoes, circling the holy hill with intention. This is not a race but a prayer in motion — a quiet, heartfelt offering to the mountain. It’s one of the most direct and intimate ways to meet Arunachala.
• One full-body Ayurvedic massage with Selva
Selva is a highly respected Ayurvedic practitioner in Tiruvannamalai with over 22 years of experience. His intuitive touch and deep care support the body’s integration, relaxation, and release. You’ll receive one full-body massage during your stay.

• Visit to Sri Siva Jyothi Mona Siddhar
We’ll visit the ashram of a reclusive, English-speaking sadhu who has spent decades in deep tapasya. His presence is quietly powerful, and his humility striking. If a connection arises, we may return for another visit.
• Trek to Parvathamalai
An adventurous 13 km return trek to a mountain-top Shiva temple perched at 4,500 feet elevation. This is a physically challenging journey, steep, raw, and unforgettable. It’s not for everyone, but for those ready to meet themselves at the edge, it’s often deeply transformative.
• Private airport transfers to and from Chennai
From the moment you arrive in Chennai, everything is taken care of. I’ll personally greet you at the airport and accompany you via private transport directly to Tiruvannamalai. No stress, no confusion, just a warm welcome and a smooth journey into sacred space.
